2015 has been a big year for the Onguard Group. The Christchurch based company has been busy on the R&D front, the project front, and the marketing front. Will Lomax, the group’s Founder and Technical Director, has been working hard to get the message out to as many winery owners as possible. Criss-crossing California and New Zealand, Will has clocked up some serious road miles and built an impressive airpoints tally.
Onguard is committed to growing the business in the United States and to support its US customers the firm is actively building its networks, capability and resources. This will enable the provision of full technical advisory and engineering support to customers throughout California and across America.
Will is in San Francisco this week working with key partners, engaging with customers, and helping them with the finer details of installing Onguard systems on their winery projects. Winery owners across California are now realising that Onguard Seismic Systems offers an opportunity to do something proactive about earthquake risk. Mitigation is now possible. The case for Onguard is strong and the innovative design approach taken by the group provides peace of mind for winery owners. Protecting key assets, people and balance sheets makes sound commercial sense.
To assist Californian wineries learn more about the Onguard system Will is attending the North Coast Wine Expo in December, and the company has also committed to exhibiting alongside key partners at the Sacramento Wine Symposium in January. During the Sacramento event Onguard’s engineers will be available on the ground during the show, and they will also be running technical sessions for those wanting to head deeper into the technical side. Information on these sessions will be available from the Onguard website in early January.
